What To Do When Life Gives You Lemons

Hello there, Guys and Gals! One thing is for sure, life is not always going to be peaches and cream. This is something that we all know but can be hard to accept. There’s this old saying, “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” What does that mean? And exactly what do you do when life gives you lemons? Here are a few tips on our to turn something sour( lemons) into something sweet(lemonade) in life.

  1. Be Optimistic
  2. Think Positive
  3. Accept the Uncontrollable
  4. Find Perspective- Everything happens for a reason
  5. Keep moving Forward, Life goes on

There was a time in my life and now that I think of it, there is always moments that I feel like my life is hard and full of chaos. What I have come to realize is that what may look like chaos can actually be a vital part of change and growth. Life gives you a chance to turn a bad situation into something good. Even if you don’t why or how you got to that bad part of your life. Just stand back, watch, and appreciate that it is happening.

  1. When I find myself getting annoyed with my husband, or angry because something didn’t go my way, I ask “Am I going to care about this tomorrow? Six weeks from now? A year from now?” The answer is usually no, and that really puts everything into perspective! Then I can move on.

  2. Lately, I have been trying to follow your tips and give myself a lot of more positive self-talk. For instance, when a person upsets or criticizes me, I try to think of that as an opportunity to show them love, instead of getting angry or defensive.

  3. It’s so difficult to do all these things though, I think before stepping on the path of positivity and motivation you should give yourself a little time to mourn! That’s important too

    1. I feel it’s more of having faith in something greater than what is actually taking place. You right it is sometime hard to think positive about a negative event. Mourn is important before you still have to remain positive and hopeful for better.

  4. That is really truth there. I think back on the cartoon Inside Out. If I’m remembering correctly, there’s a part toward the end of the movie where they comment that Joy isn’t possible without Sadness… that you can’t have one without the other (I probably slaughtered the saying, lol). That’s how I see life .. ups and downs 💕

  5. I love positivity posts!! I’ve been trying to live by these rules for the last few weeks. It really helps when you don’t stress over the little things. So not worth it!
