Pamper Yourself: How to Have a Spa Night at Home

Hello Guys and Gals, I know life can get a little of hectic and sometimes you just need a moment to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life. Unfortunately, going to a spa can be sort of expensive. What if I told you there was a way to get the same experience as going to a spa right in the comforts of your own home. Here is how you can have a spa night at home and just relax.

1.Clear Your Calendar

Decide on a day that works best for you. I like to have a spa night on the night before my “off day” or Sunday night. It makes me feel like I’m getting a fresh start on the week ahead. Your goal is to eliminate all distractions before you start your spa night. Make sure to tell everyone, including the people in your household, you will not be available after a certain time and turn off all of yourself electronic devices.

2.Start with the Basic

Gather all of your supplies for the spa night. Have your towels and pajamas already laid out ready for you. This will prevent you from running around the house looking for clean items. Right before you start the spa night, take a shower. Make sure you wash your body, wash your hair and shave. Once all of this is done, you are free to focus on relaxing.

3.Set the Mood

This is the moment you have been waiting for. Get the bath water is hot as you want it, light some candles, turn on the music and pour you a glass of your drink. Prepare your bath water, adding your essential oils and bubble bath. I love using fizz bombs in my bath water. Keep in mind the purpose of the bath is not to cleanse yourself but for you to relax. Make sure you have a bath pillow or towel to relieve the tension from your neck. Apply your lip balm, hair and facial mask.

4. Relax 

Stay in the bath as long as you like…
